Our wonderful Prophet President Gordon B Hinckley died last night. My dad called at about eight o'clock to tell us the news. We were both shocked. Even though he was so old he still seemed pretty healthy. He was such a great example. He was always working so hard for the church and with such a sweet, happy spirit. Shan and I both felt such a connection to him as prophet and we feel a huge loss, but know he is happy to be back with his wife. We were definitely blessed to have lived in his time.

I agree with you completely - what a wonderful man he was and what a great legacy he has left for all of us.
We will surely miss Presidents Hinckley's influence and guidance. He was loved by all and was such a wonderful example of obedience and accomplished so much that has moved the church forward. I think we just all felt he would live longer even though he hinted that even he felt he wouldn't be around much longer.
He is loved and will be missed!
We need to get back to our monthly FHE's with the fam. This time everyone takes a turn! (At least you and me)
