I LOVE the 4th of July! It is definately one of my favorite holidays. We headed up to my parents house on Wednesday night. So we got in lots of time with my family! The 4th was so fun. We started out the day at the annual breakfast. Usually it is at Grandmas house, but since she passed away this year, it was at my Uncle Howards house. His yard is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious!
Then we headed down to the parade. We got to still sit on my Grandmas front yard to watch the parade, probably for the last time. So sad, definately not a tradition we want to give up. My boys loved playing on her huge lawn and eating all her cherries and raspberries!
The boys all loved the parade, but were done about half way through and were ready to just sit back and eat some candy! I can't say I blame them.
Then we had our usual bbq. That night we headed down to Davis High with my parents to watch the fireworks.

Blake really got into the picnic! The next day the boys all headed out to go fishing. They were pretty proud of these monster Carp they caught. 
We had such a fun time!

Looks like it was fun. It was probably so nice to get out of the scorching heat. You missed out on a sweet family reunion!(haha) It actually wasn't that bad.

Isn't celebrating the 4th of July in Northern Utah the BEST? Hey, didn't we pass you on I 15, on Sunday?
The fourth is always a day I look forward to, as the whole family gets together and just plays. It's always fun to have the Miller's up, and thanks Shan for hooking up the electricity to the playhouse. Oh, and thanks for the words of encouragement to Wayne. I now have a new furnace and air conditioner!!!!
