It's been lots of work, but hopefully worth it! The boys love the new sandbox spot and hopefully the sand will stay in better.
Shan brought over the backhoe and dug up the ground for the garden. The boys were loving the big hole, so he left it for a day! They were SO dirty all day, but loved every minute of it! I haven't taken any pictures of the finished product, so I'll have to post those later!

There's nothing like boys and dirt. It looks like even Michael is getting into the act! I can't wait to see the finished product! Way to go Shan!

Looks like fun! Now we just have to get motivated to do the same thing. The people who owned our home before us decided to take a large part of the lawn in the back yard and add bark and curbing. Obviously they didn't have boys and didn't understand the importance of lawn!
