On Saturday Shan took the boys out to look at little dirt bikes and when they came back he had bought one. He's been talking about getting one for a while, but we were both pretty torn about the idea, so I was pretty surprised. However, Shan, Carson and Michael were pretty excited!
We took it out that afternoon and let Carson ride with some of his buddies. He did really good for his first time. My heart was beating like crazy, I was so worried he would get hurt, but he was just fine and had a great time! Looks like we'll be out in the dirt a little more now.

I have to say I'm a little nervous for you. Looks like fun though. We're going to have to take the boys out so they can ride together now.
I cannot believe that you actually did it! It looks like fun--I want one too Shan. Remember, my birthday is in August.

WHAT? He just got his bicycle training wheels off!!!! But it does look like he and dad are lovin' it! Looks like Jennifer is in for more laundry. Grandma says "Where are your knee and elbow pads?" Love ya, Mom
Don't worry - he wore knee and elbow pads while riding. He just didn't have them on for the first picture. We have since got him a chest protector that has build in elbow pads and goggles - hes as protected as I can get him!
It's so fun to look at your cute family! I can't believe Carson could do the dirt bike! That is so crazy! I'm jealous of the flowers in your pictures -- northern Utah just keeps getting snow! -- Camille
