Then I made 2 little cardboard box fire trucks for the relay race. They turned out pretty cute and my boys raced around in them all day!
Since it was kind of windy we set up our Fire Station in the third garage. The boys loved pretending it was a fire station.
Then all the kids came. We had colored a house on the driveway with chalk and the kids had to color fire all over it. Then they got to throw the 250 water ballons I had filled up at the fire to put it out. They all loved this! Next we headed to the back yard for the relay races. Shan had brought home two big tubes and they all loved playing with these.
Here's our 1st place team!
And our second place team!
Next came the cake. At first I only put 3 candles on the cake, I guess I am still wishing he was only three!
And we took some group pictures.
It all turned out pretty good! We had arranged to have the fire department bring a truck to the party, but they ended up at an emergency and couldn't come out, we were kind of disappointed, but glad we had never told Carson. Tiffany, my sweet sister in law, volunteer to come and help out and she took all my pictures for me and was the best help! Thank you so much! So, if you haven't seen enought already here are some more pictures from the party!

All I can say is 'YOU ARE BRAVE!!!' The party was a total hit, Noah is still playing with his hat and toys. Good times, good times.
Looks like the party was a blast. You did a great job planning the party. Mason had a lot of fun. Thanks for inviting him. Also, impressive that you handled all of those kids in a good manner. Congrats!!
Dare I say you are the most creative birthday party momma ever! Wow! 3 amazing parties so close together. That takes talent! I'm sure you have little 3 year old girl ideas (other than princess) in there too...so if you want to share... Ensley's birthday is in less than a month. By the way...you're not old enough to have a 5 year old! What the heck happened to us? One minute we're going for joy rides in dryers and the next we're responsible for more little people than we have hands! They're handsome little guys that hopefully we can introduce to my sweeties one day. What an impressive family!
I love your fire trucks! You did such a fantastic job with this and the other 2 birthday parties! All that hard work and worry paid off. In two ways I might add. One because I agree with the Anderson's, that you are the most creative birthday party mom, and secondly because now we know who to pass off the next New Years Eve party to!!!!
