One Proud Mom!

Today Carson gave his first primary talk. He did SO good. We had been practicing since Friday and he was super excited. I made pictures and wrote his talk on the back of each picture. So he got up in front of all the primary kids and held up each picture and read his talk off the back of the pictures. He was so confident in himself and was so brave. He held his pictures out to the side so everybody could still see his face and even kept making eye contact with everybody. Sitting in the back of the primary room I could not stop smiling. I was just so proud of him!(Shan had to miss it, because he is out of town working for the next couple days, he was so disappointed he couldn't be there.) I received tons of compliments on how well he did. The primary president even asked if they could keep his talk to use it in the Septmeber primary program.
I know, I'm braggin about my kid, but it was a really proud moment for me. I just can't believe that my four year old was able to get up in front of all the other kids, by himself and confidently READ his talk. Carson never seizes to amaze me! I love that kid!

Way to go Carson. I cannot believe how brave you are! You are supposed to brag about your kids (it is a mom's right).
