Christmas Eve

This year my Mom decided she wanted the Grand kids to act out the nativity scene. Carson got to be Joseph, and Michael and Blake were wise men. Can you tell their costumes are actually their Star Wars costumes from Halloween? I was glad to put them to use one more time, and I think they worked really good! The nativity went as good as any could, considering of the seven grand kids the oldest child there was five(Carson). It didn't last very long, but it's fun to see our kids doing what we did every year growing up. Blake wouldn't keep his hat on, and Shan got to be the donkey! You didn't know the wise man rode the donkey did you! Unfortunately the donkey mask scared the cute little angel, which didn't help out our little reenactment!
Then the boys got to open up there Christmas eve present. What a surprise! Pajamas. Five years old, and it's still a disappointment every year. I wonder how old he will be when he realizes that is what the Christmas eve present it every year! This year I also made the boys blankets. So far they are loving them.

And yes, this nose picking, crying, unhappy picture is the best I could get! Carson did not even want to be in the picture, he was SO ready to get to bed so Santa could come.

We always do the nativity on Christmas night with Colby's family. It really is fun watching all the kids act out a part.
