I can not keep up!

Our little Blake is everywhere! None of our kids have gotten around like he does. He is everywhere and I find myself having to search for him. He's getting into everything, garbages being his favorite, and bath time is interesting with his moving around in the tub!

Potty Trained (Almost)

For the last few weeks we have been working on potty training and Michael is finally starting to catch on. Yeah! He gets a new "Prize" for every day he doesn't have an accident. These silly teeth were one of his favorites!

We have a reader!

Yesterday Carsons teacher started sending him home with little books. Every time he learns all the words in one he gets to take it back and get a new one. He has already learned all of the first and second books and we are working on the third! I can't believe how fast he is learning. He is reading words like book, look, see, sam, this and hole. I'm sure I didn't start reading before kindergarten! Way to go bud!

WICKED!

For Christmas Shan gave me a trip to L.A. to go see Wicked. We left Friday morning, with Shans parents(his mom also got tickets from his dad)and drove all day. That night we got to go to the musical. It was so good. We stayed at a super nice hotel and even got to have breakfast in bed. On the way back we stopped in Primm and did a little shopping for the boys, which is always fun for me. I was super spoiled.
What a sweet and thoughtful husband I have

A great big thanks to Tiffany, Colby, Makayla and Cory who all watched our boys! We owe you big. They had a great time. When we got them home on Saturday night they were so exhausted. Carson fell asleep 30seconds after we walked in the door!

I could have died!

O.k., this is definately not the first time Carson has said something like this, but it was still bad. Today we were at Walmart shopping. Carson was walking right behind me and all of a sudden I hear him say to an older gentleman "Why do you have such a fat belly?" The older man just looked up at me and I could have died. Luckily after asking Carson to repeat the question he said "Because I'm Santa" Yep, the man had a big white beard and his name tag even said "Santa". He was super nice to Carson and Michael. They asked him why he was here in St. George and he gave them a big old long story about watching if kids are good or bad. Bad situation turned good, Luckily! Definately time for a lesson on what's okay to say to strangers.

Blakes' Crawling!

Okay, he's been crawling since Christmas and I have been such a slacker mom. I just barely got out the camera to record and share it. He's getting big too fast, he just needs to slow down!

It's a Cowboy round up!

As always my parents threw an amazing New Years eve party! We had so much fun. We were all told to come dressed as cowboys for a cowboy party. When we got there my parents had a projector playing old west movies on the wall in the family room. After the movie was over we were all given some gold coin money and escorted to the garage. Wow! My parents really out did themselves this year. They had turn the whole garage into a western scene. It had the desert, a jail, a hotel, a saloon, hay bales and a bon fire. They had covered the walls and ceiling of the garage with cardboard and painted it all with different scenes. They had even put up sheets and Christmas lights to make a starry night. The pictures just can't do it justice, it was so neat! We then had a great dinner of Fried Chicken, Beans and Mini Hot Dogs, rolls and Cream Soda. Then we played different games. Horse shoes, A Cowboy quick draw(The boys loved this, and Michael was really good), play dough western sculptures, a cow(balloon) round up and my favorite, horse races. My parents found horse masks and the dads had to act as horses for their kids. Shans knees were shot after the first race, but he was a trooper and raced two more times. For every game you won you received more money. We then had cobbler and played hearts with our left over money. After hearts was done we rang in the new year with a fireworks display Kurtis put together with fireworks from Kansas, it was awesome. It was such a fun party, we can't wait to see what my parents come up with next time! Thanks mom and dad for a great time!

Brian Get's Hitched!

This last weekend Brian got married. Kendra looked beautiful in her dress and everything went really smooth

The boys had fun playing with cousins at the reception. And they wore out their dad making runs to the elevator.

Carson just had to have a flower -so he wore mine all night!

Congrats little Brother!

Another Great Christmas!

We spent Christmas at home this year. Christmas Eve we went to Shans parents house and had a great dinner and a good time just hanging out. The boys got to open their Christmas Eve pajamas and were pretty disappointed.

Michael on Christmas morning with the boys new Rhino!

When Carson came down the stairs he saw the Geotrax and was super excited! Grandma, Grandpa and Chad all came over at 6:30 in the morning!

Michaels new bike - he's already getting pretty good.

Blake stayed up late(12:30) helping Santa put out presents - so he got to sleep in.
They loved the Rhino!
Ten pictures to get this one smile.
Not a great picture - but I'm happy their all looking forward.

Christmas Eve Sledding

Christmas Eve we went sledding with a bunch of neighbors. We went to a great hill up Cedar Mountain. It was cold, but we had a ton of fun.
