Shans Deer Hunt

Last Tuesday Shan left with Chad for the mountains to spend some time hunting with Dusty and his Uncle Mike. Shan had a muzzleloader deer tag and his uncle had an Elk Tag. Shan shot his deer on Wednesday night. He was kind of disappointed about the size of the antlers because he thought they looked bigger before he shot. But it was still the second biggest deer he's ever got! Thursday Shan came down and took Carson and Michael up to the mountains with him. By Friday morning Shan had called saying it was too hard to hunt with the boys. So I followed his Aunt Glenna and Dusty's wife Amber up to the mountains on Friday night so I could hang out with the boys while he hunted. It was freezing cold in the mountains and it even snowed. So the boys and I spent a lot of time in the trailer. We still had a lot of fun and the boys cried and cried when it was time to come home. They never want to leave the mountains. They're just like their dad!
